My first blog post
Introduction to the blog about my thoughts on the tech world, learnings, and my overall journey.
Welcome to The Zyad Codes Blog by me, Zyad. A tech enthusiast, entrepreneur, student, and now, an amateur tech blogger :)
If you’re here, you’re one of these four people. You either used Coding is Us (which btw, I created in about a week), you follow me on Instagram, you saw me on TikTok, or you just love technology.
A little about me. I’ve been coding since I was a freshman in high school, making simple calculator GUI’s in Java and solving the Pythagorean Theorem with Python. I’m a college student right now studying Computer Science @ the University of Washington & by now, I’ve started a few tech businesses and interned at some startups as well.
Teaching yourself how to code is often the question I get the most, and I hope I can shed some more light on that with this blog as well. I learned from YouTube, Codecademy, UDemy, and other online learning platforms and books too!
I didn’t feel like I could get my message across too well with social medias. I mean, it’s pretty hard to share your experiences in a 30 second attention span. If you’ve read this far though, then you’re somebody who’s really engaged in technology, and are willing to read a little bit into what other people think.
On this blog, which I’ll try to maintain weekly or even more depending on how this little test run goes, I’ll share my learnings while coding side projects, my opinion on all things in the tech world, and just try to connect with all my fellow nerds :)
If you wanna connect with me, I’d like to say I’m a pretty chill guy, so hmu @zyadcodes on insta! I’ve hopped on a lot of calls with a lot of startups & technologists from all over the world, and I love connecting with people, so don’t be shy!
I’ll conclude this post here for now, but feel free to reach out and let me know some topics you’d love to hear me talk about!
